17th August @ A's

In the Jays shaky 6-2 loss to the A's, Bautista could only manage 0-4 with a big fat sombrero :(.

It started off well however, with Jose getting an RBI ground out to the shortstop to comfortably bring in Escobomb in from 3rd.

The main talking point was in the 7th inning, score was 2-2. Men on corners with 1 out and Camp induces a softly hit ground ball and Hill who applies a tag to the runner from 1st, is spun around and throws it just inches away from Overbays' glove. Meaning the runner from 3rd scores and the inning is still alive. An inning they went on to get 2 more runs.

This whole game was one to simply throw to one side and one where I'm sure the players will say "We just didn't turn up tonight", which I hope is true.

This loss moves the Jays to still a very respectable 63-56. Which I'm sure many fans would've taken before the start of the season.
