The unfortunate nail biting 7-6 loss to the Yankees in extra innings on Sunday brought along a different side of J-Bau that we haven't seen in a while. Singles. He went 3-5 with no walks and no strikeouts, boosting his average to .236 .

A foul ball sliced to J-Bau's right had him on the chase by the 1st base seats. With swisher, looking to tag up, many players may have let it go foul, to give camp another chance at the batter, but not the Bau-man. He makes a good catch fighting the sun and absolutely guns it into Molina, who has already had 2 nails at home before this play. With swisher pelting it down the line it was always gonna be close but Molina stays with it to record the 9-2 double play. Awesome throw by Jose, Great tag by Molina.
